I decided to give the free version of Jetpack a try for whoopensnootsie.com. From what I read the “plug-in” has a lot bundled in one package. It also seems to be a well respected and maintained plug in.
I used this article from Chris Lema to help make this decision.
Nothing against the article but I decided to uninstall Jetpack before I even remembered to post this. Jetpack was more then I wanted. It changed the interface from my site to WordPress.com (The Jetpack site). I want more control over my site at this time. Maybe since I am still learning wordpress I am not ready to have my interface changed so drastically.
